Wyoming Stage Stop Stage 5: Kemmerer, Wyoming

Kemmerer is the central hub of recreation activities all year round. Known as the Fossil Capitol of the World, Fossil Basin, which includes Kemmerer and Diamondville, is bustling with visitors from all over the world, who have come to discover and take home their own fossils. During winter months, Kemmerer houses the winter sportspersons visiting the Hamsfork Recreation Area. Skiers, ice fishers, and snowmobilers fill the hotels during our snow plentiful months. For more information about the area and to find out Where to Stay, Learn, Eat, Play and Shop, visit www.FossilBasin.org.

Trista Gordon — Stage Chairperson — Kemmerer, Wyoming
Hello, my name is Trista Gordon, and I'm the Director of Events and Recreation for the City of Kemmerer. This will be my first year working with the Pedigree Stage Stop Race, and, believe me, I'm excited. I’ll be this year’s Chairperson for the City of Kemmerer. In my free time my husband and I love to hunt, fish, and camp with our three dogs. We also enjoy snowshoeing in the winter months.
