Good morning Pedigree Stage Stop Race Fans:
More snow! That is what we woke up to this morning here in Pindale. Snow is a good things, as looking at the forecast it is supposed to go well into the 40th over the next few days. Right now we are sitting at 26F.
Here are the split time from yesterday’s heat.
Notably Bruce Magnusson and Al Borak had the second fastest runtimes for the last quarter with 12mph after Anny Malo who managed 13.5 mph in some pretty strong headwind conditions.
Today’s run will see a reverse starting order with Chris Adkins going out first at 9.00 a.m. followed by Tim Thiessen 9.03 and Sean Hildreth 9.06. We do the 3 minute intervals to allow for a bit extra time, in case a team has a bit trouble getting to the starting line.
Yesterday’s run showed that Anny Malo is a bit in a league of her own with being 6 minutes faster than Stephane Roy. Places 3 to 5 are only separated by 3 minutes, so we can expect to see some shuffling for places among Alix, Cathy and Bruce. Between 5th and 6th place is a 6 minute gap and young Liam Conner will have to look over his shoulder, as teams are stacked up right behind him, mostly separated by less than a minute all the way to 12th place with Austin Forney.
Let’s go and play in the fresh snow! Hopefully the trail groomer was out and about last night! We should be live again at the starting line and from the trail!
