Hello Pedigree Race Fans,
After a late 11 a.m. start, we ended up having surprisingly nice trail conditions. Not perfect, but also much better than feared. The out and back trail was 30.2 Miles long and Anny Malo once again had the fastest time with 2 hrs and 2 Minutes 43 Seconds. About 3 minutes behind was Stephane Roy in second place. He with that solidified that he is a force to recon with. Bruce Magnusson had a heck of a run today, finishing 3rd, edging out Alix Crittenden AND Cathy Rivest and taking 4th overall.
And I can’t help but mention Liam Conner. A little shy to speak in front of the camera, he is right in his element on the back of a dogsled. He now has finished 6th both days. Here what some of the Mushers had to say after today’s Big Piney / Marbleton Stage:
