Good morning Pedigree Stage Stop Race Fans.
Big Piney-Marbleton is known to be the cold spot of Wyoming. This morning seems to live up to that with the thermometer showing 30 below F ( -35 C). The race start has been moved to 10 a.m. Time will tell if that is late enough, for it to be warm enough to run, as by later in the day temperature are supposed to hit 0F ( -18 C ). Wyoming weather has sure been throwing curve balls so far this year. It began with nonstop snow during Vet Check and Stage 1. More snow on Stage 2 in Lander. Then driving in convoy over the closed South Pass in pretty windy conditions to now yesterdays stage in Pinedale being rescheduled to Thursday ( which is normally a day off ).
